Try describing a “hipster” today to someone who doesn’t know what you’re talking about. Then, show them a picture of a hipster and see if they get it. When it comes to successfully completing that task, a picture really is worth 1,000 words. Or 100,000 cans of PBR. Too bad this guy had so many things going for him in the Hipster Of The Year sweepstakes but he grabbed a Corona instead.

Pets have it hard enough as it it. They’re semi-imprisoned, 100% reliant on some human for their care, and might be cooped up with dozens or even hundreds of others in a house filled with pee and poo. Then you get the humans who have to dress their pets up on top of it all. This blog is dedicated to those pets.

Yeah – we all see these home brewed “posters” all over the place. Some are pretty good, some suck, and the rest are a nice distraction from time to time. The ones like this, though, that really nail the funny factor are the ones to pass on. Thanks to Despair, Inc. for starting the trend in the first place.

I feel bad for this guy. Not only does he have to report on the nightly news, but he’s stuck here, with his channel 7 lapel pin talking about a rapist. He has to show an iffy sketch of the suspect. And that sketch looks an awful lot like him. Now, it’s not just the whole, “white people think all black people look the same” thing going on. It’s just that – well – there’s a similarity. And that’s pretty funny.

There are few thing better than Picture Is Unrelated. The site posts images and video where the only true response after viewing it is, “WTF?” And then you laugh, stare in disbelief, or wonder how you’re supposed to react. Stop on by whenever you need a really good mind break.

I’m always amazed at bad grammar, bad spelling, and stupid people. You usually find those three hanging out in the same place. The “Blog” of “Unnecessary” Quotation Marks fills one niche of pointing out things that “the rest of us” just seem to think is pretty obvious.

Oh... the stigma of an eating disorder.

This is another one that ranks way up there with my all-time favorites. I don’t think there’s much else to say. An eating disorder is an eating disorder. Some just might bring joy to more than one person.

The name says it all.

This is one of my oldest and most favorite images I’ve ever seen online. The irony of a delivery truck for Barrel O’ Fun snacks sitting on the side of the road burning. That truly is a Barrel O’ Fun isn’t it. What’s interesting is that if you search the internet for this image, you find several versions. My guess is that the image is from a news helicopter. Any insights into the origin of the image or a story behind it would be interesting.
